We’re looking for someone with a strong customer and community focus who will play a vital role in delivering one of our core objectives – to improve the wellbeing of our community.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop wellbeing, physical activity and sport at The Pyramid. The role will inlcude programming and producing a range of events with and for the local community and working with a range of local and national partners and organisations to bring opportunities to our community, both in and out of our building.
The Food Projects Co-ordinator will be hands on and involved in the opening and running of our newly refurbed Kitchen and brand new Community Zero Waste Shop, Community Pantry and Fridge. They will work closely with our Kitchen & Food Projects Manager to produce meals and food, cater for events and external clients, manage and run the Shop and other food projects and activities.
Based at The Pyramid. Evening and weekend working will be required.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all finances and accounts, including processing invoices and payments, producing Management Accounts and reports and working closely with staff and Treasurer.
Based at The Pyramid with home working options; hours can be worked flexibly by agreement.
The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for raising significant amounts of funding from a range of funders and supporters, creating high quality proposals, stewarding, managing awards and funds and working with the Chief Officer to secure further capital funding for our building development.

We are taking a flexible approach to this role and will appoint one person for 21 hours per week plus overtime or two people sharing 21 hours plus overtime. Please indicate preferred hours in your covering letter.

The Duty Manager/s will support the Facilities Manager to ensure all events and activities in The Pyramid run smoothly and safely. They will be responsible for keeping the building clean, tidy and maintained, general building and events management, and ensuring excellent standards of customer care in day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate must have sound leadership experience, knowledge of the voluntary sector and/or social/community enterprises, awareness of relevant legislation across all areas of The Pyramid’s operations, excellent business and financial management skills, a proven track record of securing and managing major grants, experience of the arts, heritage or cultural industries and ideally experience of managing capital projects. They will be a confident and passionate communicator, with an ability to create positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.
Working with the Board of Trustees, the post holder will be responsible for the direction and management of The Pyramid and leading the staff team.

Legal experience, particularly property law, charity law and governance

No previous Trustee experience required, we actively encourage those who may not have considered joining a Board before. We will provide a full induction and any other training, support or equipment required. These are unpaid voluntary positions, with reasonable expenses reimbursed for childcare, travel etc.

Purpose of Post
The Pyramid at Anderston wishes to appoint a Duty Manager/Janitor to assist in the management of the building, directly supporting the Facilities Manager in delivering events and activities.
The role includes managing and organising the building during day-to-day use, as well as additional one-off and regular hires and events. Work will include monitoring and maintaining stock levels, set up and break down of rooms and spaces, general building management, maintenance and cleaning and supporting the wider team to deliver projects.
