Member of Relationships Scotland, regulated by COSCA. Established in 1947, based in the centre of Edinburgh’s New Town, we recently ceased being known as Couple Counselling Lothian, re-launching on 29th February 2016 as Bright Light Relationship Counselling as this more accurately reflects our energy as a professional counselling organisation and wider range of counselling services – we are no longer predominantly couple counselling. A meteor streaked through the skies of Scotland the night we launched Bright Light. Hopefully a good omen.
Relationships are what matter most to us all and at Bright Light relationship counselling we help over 6000 people living in Edinburgh and the Lothians per year get the most out of the relationships that they recognise matter most to them – we support for example, individuals, couples, children of all ages, grandparents, siblings, kinship carers, adult children with their parents, looked after children, aunties, uncles, friends, carers and other professionals. Helping with relationship issues before they reach crisis point. Issues such as family communication, physical and/or mental abuse, child and adolescent behaviour, mental health, parenting issues, gender issues, physical illness and disability, separation, divorce, step family life, fostering, adoption, kinship care, loss of a loved one.
