Leading a team of experienced service managers, the successful applicant will ensure the delivery of the new services whilst making sure our current delivery is not compromised. They will implement a comprehensive evaluation system meeting the varying needs of our stakeholders; families, funders, partners and the Care Inspectorate.

We help them recover to a level that enables them to return to work, further education or an acceptable level of independent living. Purpose of the post
The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross are looking for a highly motivated and committed worker with experience of providing therapeutic support to join our team. This post involves the provision of therapeutic support, information and advocacy services for survivors age 12+ and their family members. Experience of delivering emotional therapeutic, practical support and advocacy services to women and/ young people affected by trauma is essential, alongside experience of assessing and responding to risk in relation to sexual abuse and exploitation. The Trust has a vacancy for a Project Coordinator. This is an opportunity for a creative and caring individual with excellent organisational, administrative and volunteer management skills to play a leading role in the running and development of a highly successful community project aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of residents of the Perthshire village of Stanley.
Working in partnership with existing groups and statutory services, the successful applicant will coordinate and support volunteers to run a time bank offering opportunities to local people to devote some of their spare time to helping others. Activities undertaken by members range from dog walking, gardening, shopping to more specialised tasks.
The post holder will be required to recruit and train a group of befrienders to support individuals at risk of social isolation and loneliness and to support a volunteer group that runs a lunch club aimed at reducing loneliness.

Our DAYS Service supports all young people of any gender aged between 8 and 18 who live in Dundee or Angus and have experienced any type of sexual abuse.
We take a flexible approach to planning support to best meet the needs of the young person, this can be school, home, community or at our office. We offer a variety of support for young people and are led by the individual.
1:1 Support - We offer emotional support to survivors. Each session is a safe and confidential space for survivors to process the trauma they have experienced at their own pace. We do this by using a range of therapeutic interventions and tools which are survivor centred.
Group work support - We various creative groups and peer support groups all of which aims to reduce isolation and extend social circles. The aim of these are to build survivors support networks and build survivors confidence, reducing isolation and feelings of blame and shame.
We are seeking an individual who demonstrates a knowledge of the impact of trauma on young people and age-appropriate support tools / methods and can provide and has significant experience of providing trauma-based models of support to young survivors.
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our West Lothian, Perth & Kinross services as an Area Manager.
Autism Initiatives Scotland provides a range of person centred services throughout Scotland. The charity provides services to autistic people who are 16 years old and over and encompasses supported living and outreach services.
The Area Manager is responsible for the design of the support programme to the people we support and to ensure, through the management team, the delivery and maintenance of high level autism specific services. The Area Manager’s responsibilities also include financial management, service development and liaison with external agencies. To provide leadership to the group of services, the Area Manager must ensure all staff are managed and supervised effectively. The Area Manager will be required to travel to our sites across West Lothian, Perth & Kinross.
You will have excellent leadership and supervision skills, knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the social care sector and management of an operational budget. A Social Work / health care qualification or equivalent as noted within the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) guidelines for the qualifications for managers is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be required to register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme and the SSSC.

About the role

About You

At Turning Point Scotland Perth & Kinross, we deliver services for people who have a learning disability or autism and unique and complex behaviours which challenge the service: many of the individuals we support have some forensic histories. We support people who live in 24/7 supported accommodation projects. We also provide support within our outreach service to people with learning disabilities within the area of Perth, Kinross and Blairgowrie/Rattray.
The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.
