Job Purpose – Strategic Communications Lead
This is a new cross-organisational role within The Promise Scotland for an experienced communications strategist. The postholder will develop a strong, central communications function with a focus on:
You will be an outstanding all-round communicator, comfortable working in high pressure environments and adept at working collaboratively.
You will possess strategic communications expertise, pairing this with a strong track record of delivery, as well as substantial experience of planning and delivering communications strategies.
You will have excellent writing skills, strong organisational skills and will help grow a positive culture of delivery and good decision-making across content and engagement.
Experience of delivering communications with senior leaders is essential, with the authority and credibility to lead teams and to influence and engage senior leadership colleagues and external partners in complex situations. As the Executive Officer at Forth Valley Advocacy you will join us at an exciting time in our development as we continue to deliver a recently extended contract for Independent Advocacy services in the Forth Valley area, currently extended until October 2024 with the option of extension to October 2025. This is a crucial post which will allow Forth Valley Advocacy to continue to provide high quality and person led Independent Advocacy services across the Forth Valley area.

What Is the Role?
As a member of the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) and reporting directly to the Director of Service Delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring, within your area of responsibility, that VSS’s strategic objectives are being met, You will have a key role in developing future strategies and initiatives, primarily but not limited to volunteering, that ensure that people affected by crime are supported when, where and how they choose, regardless of where in Scotland they live.

What Is the Role?

PATH (Scotland) is a small, dynamic award-winning national charity established in 1998 to address the absence of BAME communities in housing and employment using the positive action provisions of equalities legislation. We also run employability, mentoring and leadership programmes across Scotland.

The post holder will support unpaid carers to access person-centred support for their caring situation, health and wellbeing and personal development.
VOCAL is a carer-led organisation and provides a wide range of services to support unpaid carers in their caring role. The post-holder will be expected to work as part of a team, improve outcomes for carers and maximise uptake of VOCAL services.
Applicants will evidence excellent people, and communication skills, casework and person-centred support work. Applicants will also demonstrate awareness of the diverse range of caring situations, the impact of caring on peoples’ lives and barriers carers face at different points of the caring journey. Good working knowledge of health and social care will be expected.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of paid and volunteer staff to further develop our Debt Advice service across Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau. We have been delivering a valuable, high level service to the community of Clackmannanshire for over 50 years. We have accreditation in Type iii advice by Scottish National Standards for advice providers (SNSIAP) in the areas of Housing, Debt and Benefits.
Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau, based in Alloa, is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice to the residents of Clackmannanshire across 6 locations in the county. We average 26-30 paid staff and 21 volunteers who provide a wide range of services across our 20 projects.

The Debt Adviser will provide specialist debt advice up to Scottish National Standards Type iii, to clients referred through general services and partner agencies.
This will include complex debt case management, maintaining consistent working practice and quality assurance of debt cases ensuring that policy and practice meets all legal & regulatory requirements including the Financial Conduct Authority.

It will involve providing support to staff and volunteers who also deliver the service.
