We believe in really listening to our infants, children, young people and families. We believe in those views being at the heart of how we make big decisions about plans, about services and about direction. If we understand and respond to people's experiences – the good and the bad – this will lead us to better, smarter, kinder ways of being – and create better opportunities for everyone.
We have an amazing opportunity for a Participation Worker who'll work closely with our experienced Engagement Coordinator to build relationships with a wide range of people, supporting them to share their views and experiences in a way that is flexible, creative and feels safe.
You'll work with children, young people and their families to establish a policy that can be used consistently across services in West Dunbartonshire about fair remuneration, exploring the most valued way we can recognise their expertise and contribution. The Participation team will reach as many of our children, young people and families as possible, consulting on a range of issues around The Promise.
The other aspect of their role will be how this information is then blended with the quantitative data we have – how the stories this person has gathered are conveyed to staff at all levels, making sure the experiences behind the stats are understood.
We're looking for a bright and friendly individual with a passion for listening to, empowering and raising the voices of children, young people and their families. Experience engaging and working with children, young people and families in creative and meaningful ways is desirable but full training and coaching will also be provided and we welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of social care.

We are looking for a Fundraising and Operations Lead: a brand new role growing and supporting Hot Chocolate Trust’s outstanding youth work.
Hot Chocolate Trust have worked with young people, aged 12-25, from across Dundee since 2001. We support them on their own terms, grow their confidence and fullest lives, do extraordinary things together and amplify their voices to affect wider change.
This post will consolidate and build the fundraising and operational platforms of Hot Chocolate to support and improve effectiveness and innovation in our youth work.

Reporting to: Research & Policy Lead
The Database Manager will ensure FVA's innovative multi-agency database of community services across all of Fife is high quality, impactful and well used.
You will oversee data protection and confidentiality aspects of the database and data, ensure the database design meets stakeholder needs, and report and analyse data trends and usage. Line managing the Data Administration Officer you will support the collection, entry and maintenance of data and support the work of other colleagues with data requirements to enable consultations, communication and statistical analysis.
Responsible for: Data Support Officer
The Database Support Officer will ensure high quality, accurate data is entered and maintained in an innovative multi-agency database of community services across all of Fife. Working as part of a small team, you will identify data on services, maintain the data, support partners to make use of the data, and conduct some basic data analysis and reports.
You will encourage and support service providers to maintain their own data in the database. You will run reports and analysis on data and produce datasets to meet the requirements of clients while complying with data protection and confidentiality requirements at all times.

About the role
Over the past four years, the Workforce Wellbeing Project (formerly the Adviser Wellbeing Project) has given us the unique opportunity to document the experiences of staff within the free money advice sector and support their wellbeing through research, training, and community building.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results driven individual with extensive experience of volunteer management, to join our team as a Senior Branch Engagement Officer – Scotland.
Our network of Branches are entirely volunteer run by parents, carers and autistic individuals who want to make a difference to autistic people. They are local, community led and entirely responsive to the needs of autistic people in their area.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting these branches to implement policies and procedures to keep activities safe and legal and become more sustainable.
To be successful, you will have good communication skills and have strong leadership qualities. You will need to have a good knowledge and understanding of volunteer management and be educated to at least university degree level in an appropriate discipline or proven track record in the field.
Where you will be working:
This role will be home based, so you must be able to work remotely (IT equipment will be provided). Candidates must be based in Scotland.
This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

DVVA and the Protecting People Strategic Support Team based within Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership are seeking a passionate and dedicated Authentic Voices Project Manager to play a pivotal role in amplifying the voices and experiences of individuals with lived experience within strategic planning and decision-making forums. This will include an initial focus on the protecting people partnerships and committees. This position is instrumental in supporting a whole system culture shift in strategic spaces and ensuring that the needs, perspectives, and insights of the individuals we serve are authentically represented and integrated into the development and improvement of our programs and initiatives.
The post holder will be employed by Dundee Volunteer Voluntary Action and co-located to work as a member of the Protecting People Strategic Support Team (based within Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership).
Ideally you’ll have experience of supporting the engagement of people with lived experience as well as networking with a variety of partners and stakeholders. You’ll be able to balance the differing needs and expectations of those you are working with to facilitate successful working relationships and outcomes. Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject, and with significant working experience, you’ll have experience of project management and delivering change programmes.
