Main duties and responsibilities
Birthlink was established in 1911 and is currently in partnership with Scottish Government and others to provide a service to people affected by adoption with a Scottish context. Separately, Birthlink provides an Access to Records service for those seeking to understand their time in care or to prepare applications to the Scottish Government Redress Scheme.
The purpose of this job is to provide administration support to the project which of researching and documenting the history of Birthlink, produce resources and telling the story.

Kidscene is an after school and holiday club for children from the schools in the surrounding area as well as children from the Royal Blind School who have additional support needs as well as a vision impairment.

Your Main Role/Job Summary.
To develop, manage and deliver a successful and sustainable Fundraising Plan that achieves
reliable income through an annual programme of fundraising activities from a variety of sources.
The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the needs of the Hospice. The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by their line management team. The post holder may be expected to work at any of the locations where the business of the Hospice is conducted.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Peer Digital Inclusion Coach will use their own personal experiences of managing mental health and recovery (either personal experience or experience of caring for someone), alongside an interest in digital tools and basic IT skills to support people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues to understand and use digital tools (such as emails, websites and apps) in order to reach their own health goals.
Through the provision of up to six 1:1 digital support sessions people will be supported to understand the range of digital therapies available to them, the benefits of these therapies and how to access these. Support will be tailored to meet the needs of each individual and is likely to include learning basic digital skills (using different platforms including websites and apps) as well as increasing confidence in the navigation of digital therapy resources. The PDIC will also be responsible for facilitating the setting up and delivery of peer digital support groups to enable people further develop their digital skills whilst increasing their natural support networks.
With the Service Manager and partners in the Digital Psychological Therapies Team (NHS Fife) they will participate in communities of learning to share best practice and broaden the reach of digital therapies for this client group. They will work with NHS colleagues to participate in an evaluation report at the end of the project which will inform the delivery of digital therapy support going forward.

The post holder will use their personal experiences of mental health challenges to offer empathy and understanding to others in the area of learning and utilising digital skills. In this role, the Peer Digital Inclusion Coach will offer empathetic support alongside practical assistance in order to empower people to feel in control of their lives in relation to making informed choices around their use of digital tools. The Peer Digital Inclusion Coach will act as a digital champion within the service and link with external agencies and partner organisations. They will also be supported to continue their own personal and professional development.

We're looking for a creative and skilled Marketing Officer to join our team and play a key role in the growth and development of the charity. You will do this by helping to raise awareness and support income generation. Working closely with the Community and Communication team members, you will be involved in all marketing activities within FDAMH.
The purpose of the role is to help us deliver communications and marketing activity to meet the organisation’s ambitions and goals.

We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer to join our team to promote our organisation and its work by helping to raise awareness of FDAMH, its services and support income generation. Working closely with the Community and Communication team members, you will be involved in community events and fundraising activities within FDAMH and the local area.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that our community is aware of, and benefiting from all of the services that we offer and will maximise income generation by diversifying funding streams that will engage the public and businesses to become supporters of FDAMH.
To be successful in this post you should have a proven track record in engaging with the local community, achieving fundraising targets and securing donations from a diverse range of sources. You’ll also bring lots of energy, be reliable and can confidently use initiative!
Barnardo's Children's Right's and Advocacy Service has been established in Fife for more than 22 years. The provision supports children and young people aged 5-18 years of age who are Care Experienced at Home or Away from Home, in Kinship Care, in Foster Care or in Residential Care. They can also support young people who are in Continuing Care, up to the age of 21 through the provision of rights representation, advocacy, and rights advice & information.
Advocacy support is also provided to young people at Child Protection Planning meetings.
An opportunity has arisen within this service for you to join an established and committed team to provide Right's representation for the children and young people of Fife as described above. You will have an opportunity to become part of and develop the service to ensure that Children's Rights are at the centre of decision making in Fife.
An experience of Right's and/or Advocacy work would be extremely desirable as would have an ability to engage with children, young people, and partner agencies. An understanding or knowledge of legislation surrounding UNCRC, The Promise and The Children's Hearing System would be helpful.

Due to the internal promotion of the current post-holder, we are seeking a Family Support Worker (1.0 FTE) to join our team. This post will support the delivery of the Forth Valley Family Support Service. This includes delivering community-based services that specifically address the needs of families affected by alcohol and drugs.
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering a range of family support services which address the specific needs of families and support groups, including evidence-based interventions, with the assistance and support of the Family Support Development Officer – Forth Valley. This includes facilitating family support groups and working with individuals on a one-to-one basis; providing advocacy to support groups and individual family members, and actively promoting family recovery and family inclusive practice.
The post has a Forth Valley wide remit and will involve significant travel throughout the region and some to our offices in Glasgow. It is expected that the post holder will be required to work some evenings and occasional weekends. This post will be part of Scottish Families’ staff team and be supervised by the Family Support Development Officer – Forth Valley.
We are seeking applicants who are educated to HNC level, vocational qualification (level 3) or relevant professional qualification; have experience of direct client work, group work, direct work with families and understanding of the voluntary sector; with knowledge of issues affecting families affected by substance use. Candidates should be able to effectively and sensitively advocate for others, with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
