As part of an exciting period of expansion within the fundraising team, we are looking to recruit a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser. This role will be integral in supporting the diversification of our income streams and focus on this important area of fundraising, creating more opportunities for giving across Scotland.
The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser role will support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead in developing and cultivating a portfolio of trust fundraising and will be central to the successful delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and producing high quality bids as well as supporting with required reporting.
Alongside this, you will play an active role in developing our supporter journeys and maintaining and utilising financial and supporter data to improve and develop our fundraising offer. As part of the role, you will be fundamental in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships across the trusts and foundations landscape.
As an ambassador for MND Scotland, and a first point of contact for many supporters, you will be a confident communicator with a passion for working with people throughout the community. You will be highly organised, and able to run projects on time and on budget.

We are looking for a highly motivated fundraising manager to join our growing fundraising team as Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead. This role will join us at an exciting time of growth to deliver a successful Partnerships and Philanthropy strategy.
In this role, you will be central to the successful delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy, using operational and financial planning skills to develop and implement a successful portfolio for giving across Scotland. Govan Help are a charity which exists to build the resilience, confidence and self-worth of children and their families through provision of a range of early intervention services. Following a successful joint funding bid, Govan Housing Association and Govan Help are delighted to have received grant funding from Advice UK in order to strengthen their partnership by delivering advice in accessible settings to the local community.
The funding allows both organisations to recruit for two experienced Money Advisers to assist in the delivery of advice in relation to Welfare Benefits, Money & Debt and Energy Advice across the community.
The Govan Housing Group’s Money Advice Service has achieved successful accreditation of the Scottish National Standards for Information & Advice Providers (SNSIAP) at the highest levels of Type III in Welfare Benefits and Type II in Money & Debt. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining, adhering and developing the standards and processes currently in place in order to continue to deliver a high-quality advice service to our customers.
As Money Adviser, you will assist in delivering a first-class service to customers in relation to all welfare benefit and debt related issues. It is essential that you are familiar with the Self-Directed Support (SDS) Act 2013 and the Scottish Government Legislation for SDS. Muirshiel Centre (Adult Day Care) was established in 1991 as a local charity (Registered Charity No sco18185) and is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors who represent our local community. The Centre’s day to day operations overseen by a service manager supported by a staff team of professionally trained individuals dedicated to the care and support of our service users. We are committed to providing a quality, responsive day services that meet the needs of older people with support needs residing in East Inverclyde (Port Glasgow).
The Centre caters for a wide range of individuals including those who are frail / elderly, those who are socially isolated, are living with dementia, anxiety or depression, learning disabilities or those with mental ill-health.

Everything we do, and the way in which we do it, puts the MND Community at our core. The Welfare Rights Advisor’s role is to ensure provision of the advice and practical assistance needed to maximise the financial support available to individuals and families affected by MND.
Reporting to the organisation’s Welfare Rights Lead, you will ensure that people with MND and their families have access to the benefits to which they’re entitled. Ensuring provision of the advice and practical assistance needed to maximise the financial support available to individuals and families affected by MND. You will work with people affected by MND to identify their entitlements, based on their individual circumstances, and submit appropriate applications. Liaising with public bodies, as required, assisting clients in navigating often complex application processes and ensuring speedy access to benefits. Reassuring people with MND that they are being supported through a difficult situation.
You will be a highly motivated individual, have experience in welfare and benefits, have excellent communication skills and enjoy new challenges. A clear understanding of statutory welfare and benefits systems and processes is essential. As well as an awareness of the barriers faced by people with significant illnesses in society. This will enable people with MND to spend their precious time building special memories with their families, rather than worrying about their finances.

The Scottish Women’s Rights Centre is a unique collaborative project between Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS), JustRight Scotland and the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic offering legal and advocacy services to women survivors of gender based violence in Scotland.
