As an Intensive Floating Support Worker, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible intensive support to individuals to encourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.

Main Responsibilities:

This Intensive Floating Support Worker role working within our East Ayrshire Outreach combines settled housing with person-centred, strengths-based and flexible support – as much and for as long as someone wants it. Housing First is there to assist homeless and potentially homeless people access secure tenancies with wrap-around support to sustain their tenancies. This is working on a rota covering various shift patterns including some weekends. This role involves working 17.5 hours per week. The Intensive Floating Support Worker will:

• Provide intervention and a range of supports for new referrals and existing Supported People in Blue Triangle’s supported accommodation services and move-on accommodation.
• To provide trauma-informed, person-centred, and wellbeing-focused support for people supported by Blue Triangle.
• To support, review, monitor and evaluate through our SHARP monitoring tool to achieve a positive person-centered outcome for the people we work with in line with Blue Triangle’s statutory and legislative requirements.
• To support people transitioning from supported accommodation into the local community or referred from other sources, helping them on their personal pathway towards a settled tenancy, building their tenancy and life management skills.

About the Role:

As Service Manager, you will manage and lead a team to deliver high quality, safe, secure, accommodation for Care Leavers from the Falkirk Area providing round-the-clock Housing Support, engaging Group Activities, and personalised 1:1 Assistance, where young individuals can thrive to build their skills and confidence to help transition smoothly into independent living with the support of a large fully trained staff team. About the Role:

As a Peripatetic Support Worker, you will be a valuable and flexible resource for your assigned geographical regions to provide cover when required. You will provide a dynamic response to ensure that our services continue to deliver high quality support to our Supported People across various Local Authority areas. Blue Triangle, along with the ADP and the health and social care partnership are collaborating on a joint project focussed on wellbeing and recovery for supported people in East Ayrshire.

The objective of the project is to support the recovery pathway for individuals who are either exiting residential rehabilitation or community recovery programmes, who are in need of additional support within a housing support environment.

Supported people will enter the service post detox with a view to re-connecting with family, friends and their local communities. They will explore options around education, training, employment and health.

This Support Worker at Dalmelington is looking for both day and night workers, working on a rolling rota. These roles are 36 hours per week. The Support Worker will:

As an Intensive Floating Support Worker, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible intensive support to our young people to encourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.

You will already be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and hold an HNC or SCQF level 6 or 7 in Social Care.

As a Support Worker, you will be required to deliver 1-2-1 support to individuals in their own home, enabling them to develop skills required to live independently, this can cover a variety of areas from assisting with budgeting, finances, keeping on top of day to day household activities to helping individuals to access appropriate supports from other agencies.

You will be required to keep accurate notes regarding support visits carried out and also to complete risk assessments, support plans and reviews for each individual you key work. Our service at North High Street, Musselburgh is predominately an accommodation unit for 7 young care leavers and young people who have experienced homelessness.

This position involved working in the South Ayrshire outreach, intense support service, which will be run in partnership with South Ayrshire Council’s ADP.
