Options Fife Respite and Outreach provides a range of flexible support through outreach and overnight short breaks at weekends, evenings and school holidays to children and young people with complex learning disabilities and autism. We offer a high-quality child centred service providing positive and enabling experiences for the young people, supporting them through the challenges and complexities that enable them to work towards their individual outcomes and personal goals. We are looking to recruit a Young People’s Worker Nights, working four nights on (10 hours per night) every second week. You will play a fundamental role in ensuring that the young people you work with have the best possible experience in working towards their objectives in line with their care plan, supporting children to progress within their individual outcomes. Whilst not without its challenges and demands, this is a highly rewarding role, where the work we do has a demonstrable impact on each young person's progress. Using a person-centred approach, you will provide enabling support ensuring the highest level of physical, personal, and emotional care. We support young people who have epilepsy, need personal care and need gastrostomy feeding. Aberlour, in conjunction with NHS, provides all staff with training.

About the service
‘Meeting new people. Seeing new places. Doing new things.' That's what our Short Breaks services are all about! They are an opportunity for disabled children and young people to have fun, gain independence, learn and develop while families get to take a much needed break.
As one of our Residential Support Worker's, your role will involve providing encouragement and support to young people, aged 5 to 21, in order to help them reach their full potential and achieve their goals. You'll be responsible for assessing their needs, setting goals, and regularly reviewing and evaluating their progress. By creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment, you'll contribute to their overall development and well-being.
You'll plan and take part in activities based at the service as well as out in the community such as trips to the local shops, parks, cinema, soft play, youth club, beach, swimming and various others. You'll also provide support with day to day routines, life skills, attend to personal care and administer medication following the appropriate training.

The Cost of Living Support Worker is responsible for supporting volunteer advisers deal with the increase in casework / demand due to Cost of Living drivers.
The post holder will increase volunteer advisors capacity to deal with cost of living driven enquiries & support the main Bureau volunteer led generalist service to deal with the increased volume of enquiries.
The post holder will act as support and mentor to both office-based and remotely enabled advice volunteers ensuring they have the necessary support to deal with enquires effectively and efficiently.
General Responsibilities
• To act as the main point of contact and mentor for all advice volunteers seeking casework/advice support on Cost of Living driven enquiries
• To support bureau based & remotely enabled volunteers to assist in the delivery of the core advice service
• To provide advice support for remote & bureau based volunteer workers particularly in relation to complex/crisis Cost of Living crises driven client enquiries.
• Provide advice for maximising income & support volunteer advisers in the provision of advice & assist people maximise their income by accessing such support as is available to them (e.g. benefits and grants).
• Provide advice & support volunteer advisers in the provision of advice for managing debt. Helping people identify their options and strategies, enabling them to get control of their borrowings or removing the burden of debt entirely.
• To undertake supervisory roles within the office – e.g. 2nd tier technical support on complex Cost of Living driven enquiries
• To communicate frequently with volunteer advisers to ensure they are satisfied, well-placed and any concerns are addressed.
• To help ensure the purpose of the Stirling CAB, its actions, policies, procedures and the role of the volunteer is clearly communicated, understood and implemented.
• To help represent and present the views of volunteers and volunteering related matters to senior management.

Street Connect is a Christian organisation with a mission to offer hope and opportunity of recovery for people disadvantaged by addiction, homelessness, and poor mental health.
As our Fundraising & Marketing Manager you can contribute to profound and lasting changes in the lives of highly vulnerable individuals. In 2022/23 working with our church partners, Street Connect benefitted over 1500 people overall with 135 individuals receiving formal key work support and we supported 19 entries to residential rehabilitation. Our participants report stability and improvements not only in their recovery from drug and alcohol problems, but also in their living skills and situations, social skills, and relationships, and in their physical, mental and spiritual health and wellbeing.
The Fundraising & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Street Connect’s income generation strategy in order to raise funds to support the work of Street Connect. They are also responsible for the development and implementation of Street Connect’s communication strategy to ensure the effective branding, marketing, and promotion of Street Connect.
